Project history:

The Orthodox Church existed in the village Soloneshnoe before the revolution of 1917, was finally destroyed in the mid-twentieth century. The parish was restored only in the 2000s, the services were in a separate adapted room. 
In September 2009 in the village Soloneshnoe opened the new Church of St. Nicholas. Brick one-domed Church with a belfry above the porch-an example of modern temple architecture – reproduces the forms of early Moscow architecture of the XIV century.The project is developed in the creative workshop of Petr Anisiforov
On September 19, his grace Maximus, Bishop of Barnaul and Altai, consecrated a new stone Church. Bishop Maxim gave Permyakova, S. A., entrepreneur from Moscow, to Finance the construction of the temple, the Patriarch's award of the Russian Orthodox Church – the order of St. Sergius of Radonezh III degree.
